Orgasm Inducing

As most of you know from recent posts, I have never been an loyal American Idol viewer until this season. (And even then, my loyalty is still very much wavering, as Teetz and I usually don't even get around to watching either the performance show or the results show until a few days after they originally air.) While I love pop music, most of the time I feel American Idol in some ways represents everything that is wrong with the genre: it is all manufactured and nothing is really real. Normally I watch only to make fun of the talentless idiots who think they can sing in the preliminary rounds. But this season, one person has really made me continue to watch: Chris Daughtry.

For two minutes I sat in silence, jaw dropped in awe, watching him perform, "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" by Bryan Adams.

We actually watched it a couple times, it was just so amazing. He was just so amazing. Wow.
Check out this website to see Chris and all of his performances thus far. I think my most favorite was when he sang "I Walk the Line" but tonight was definitely a close second. I think regardless of how this season of Idol goes, he will get signed, no doubt about it. He should have had his music on the radio yesterday. He is amazing.

I would definitely have his babies and I have said that about very few people, though the list currently is made up only of: Gavin DeGraw and Christopher Meloni. Once upon a time I said I would have Jesse Boyer's (former Husker baseball player) babies, but I retracted that statement when he moved to Omaha and lived with a former Creighton baseball player.

Fuck Creighton.

I start packing tomorrow, woohoo.

Teetz, if you read this before I talk to you, do you have any of those Office Depot boxes left over that I could use to pack? You can have them back, promise.
